RamCharger for Towing a Trailer and it's benefits

Totally agree, I am starting to lose all faith that RAM will actually make this truck. As a deposit holder there has been no communication and they have done just about nothing to keep customers (or potential customers) engaged. I was hoping that the first delay would yield Ramchargers getting released this year but that promise was dropped like a lead weight. Now it is "sometime" next year... I was hoping to be in it already!

As you can tell - I am pretty frustrated, RAM doesn't seen to have much concern about customers/feedback so I am just pounding sand while I wait, and if they do ever produce this truck - I might even get one!

They certainly do need to get more information out there, drive up the hype for these if they want a successful launch IMO. At this point I will wait until next spring as it is too late to get one for this camping season (the main reason I want to upgrade honestly) so may as well finish paying off my 2020 and have a free and clear truck to sell for a good downpayment on the Ramcharger.

I'm in a need for a new truck soon, but have time to wait. Mine is 2019 any my warranty runs out next year or 100k ( 18k left on warranty). So i think im good till next year. Definitely going to sell the truck once warranty runs out or trade in if Ramcharger comes out. Fingers crossed.

While I dont necesarrily "need" a new truck, I can not pull my camper with full tanks, nor can I put anything besides my family in my truck due to payload (Yes I know I have a Limited and could option down, but at this point in my life, i enjoy the luxuries). I can not get a 2500 because it will not fit in the garage and I dont want it full of hail damage every year. This truck peaked my interest just due to the payload increase, not to mention the other benefits (not using gas for 90% of my use, the power, being able to boondock on my property, etc). But it has been crickets for so long, it is frustrating for sure.

I also have limited with air suspension. I went over my payload 200-300 lbs and it locked out my height control due to payload. Truck drove fine other then not being able to raise or lower it. I do have a weight distribution hitch, those alone weigh a lot.

Yeah, me too, I have the Anderson hitch because it weighed the least amount for that reason.
