Retired Combat Pilot & Alternative Energy Consultant supercharged to see "everyone" Fly High into an understanding of the vast capabilities of the 2025 RamCharger!!

Backup your homes electrical usage, reduce your vulnerability to growing grid insecurity, hacking, demands of AI, etc. to reduce your power bill or become less dependent - Charge a solar battery bank, become less dependent!

Lots of exciting potential.

There are a few people with the Hummer EV and F150 EV versions doing this same thing right now.

I got my first electric car in November 2012, one of the early Tesla’s and have been an investor in Tesla and other electric startups since 2010. Twelve years later I am still driving Tesla’s. I also had a Karma Revero which is identical in technology as this new ramcharger. It had 80 miles electric and 220 in additional range from the gas generator. Beautiful but really buggy car.

The Ramcharger is exactly what most consumers need and will want. I seldom went to the gas station in the years I had the revero. I am excited about the ram charger as my next vehicle.

I sure hope you rode the Tesla stock wave! :)

Did pretty well. Of course, there were plenty of times I got out and back in that didn’t work out.

Very hard to time the market... I got out of Bitcoin way too early as well :(

Welcome to the forum! There's a lot of potential with this Ramcharger platform, and I can't wait to see some real-world results.

New guy here. Interested in learning more about Ramcharger. Seems like there isn't much information available yet. Hoping they release an ordering guide soon. Thanks for having me.

Welcome to the site, glad to have you aboard!

I currently drive a Rivian. I hope to get the Ramcharger for longer trips (and less charging stops)

Welcome to the site @GEON -- How have you liked the Rivian? Feel free to post up some pictures in another thread, I'd love to see it!

So far the Rivian has been fantastic. I would say its the best vehicle that we've owned.

This is the Rivian charger in Truckee CA, it requires an extra charging stop due to the elevation (hills!) This trip was from sealevel to over 5000'.

That's a nice setup! Welcome to the forum! 👋

Hey everyone

I’m an IT guy and a musician.

In 2020, I got my first RAM, and it was also my first pickup truck. After my lease ended, I leased the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe because I was curious about the idea of a plug-in hybrid.

At first, I didn’t like the car because it took a long time to charge and only gave me 27 miles on a single charge. It took 18 hours to charge! But then I got a level 2 charger, and I was finally able to use the car the way I wanted. I only drive locally, so I figured I’d barely use any gas. That worked for a few months as I filled up my car once in that time

Then I noticed that my car was acting funny with something called Fuel and Oil Refresh Mode. It seems like I’m always in that mode, and it’s getting on my nerves. I know why it’s happening, but I wish it didn’t happen so often. Gas shouldn’t “go bad.”

I put a deposit down on the Ramcharger because I’m excited about the range and I hope it doesn’t go into the refresh mode as often. I also miss the size of the pickup truck as the Grand Cherokee is way too small for me. I also like the REV, but I don’t want to wait even longer to get rid of what I have now. My lease ends in mid-2026.

I’m hoping for a great experience when this truck finally comes out.

Hello @FireRunt welcome to the site. I didn't know about that Oil Refresh Mode, that does sound pretty annoying. Gas doesn't go bad nearly that fast and simply putting in some treatment to the tank should make it last a year or more. I can see firing up the gas motor and having it run for a few minutes at a time once a week or somethig but nothing ridiculous.

Here's to hoping this will be better for you!

Yeah. FORM can be quite annoying. Sometimes I can go 1300 miles on a tank of gas with charging it nightly and moderate driving, but when FORM is acting up, I’ll get 400 miles.

Sounds like it. That also sounds like something they could fix/update in a flash... so fingers crossed they figure that out sooner rather than later.
