With a 130-kilowatt generator and two powerful electric motors, the new Ramcharger should tow like a freight train! What do you plan on towing with your Ramcharger?

I would think the bumper pull RV crowd would be all over this truck. No need for electrical hookups.

My question is will a gooseneck hitch be available? With the 2600+ lb payload you can get into gooseneck trailers that a regular half ton couldn't touch. That's appealing without buying an HD truck for me. I won't use it everyday for that, but if it's an option fir the few times a year I would use it, great.

Haha, Never heard an Airstream referred to that...

Do you like the towing specs or the on-board power gen more for your application?

Me neither! I had an Airstream Bambi for a while that I towed with a couple of different Range Rover Sports.

The towing specs are great - plenty of headroom and even with a larger trailer - not close to the limit. The onboard power gen is fantastic - can boondock anywhere. The only other vehicle that gets close to this is the Ford hybrid.
My trailer is 30amp, so the truck can easily power the trailer...

Do you think they will be shipping by this summer?
I think the fall of this year is probably more realistic. Hopefully, they will surprise us and get some test mules on the road soon.

I currently tow a 24’ Shockwave toy hauler with a 2023 eTorque 1500, and the Ramcharger would drag it around easily!

I currently tow a 33’ Wildwood 273qbxl with my 2020 Ram (3.92 gears) Limited. It pulls fine through the Colorado Mtns, I am just payload limited, so having so much more payload will be great. Also just got 7 acres in the mountains that I have built anything on, so looking forward to being able to boondock over the weekends up there and just plugging into the truck for power.

That sounds like a dream @Rotorhead -- also, welcome to the site!

I plan on towing my 24' enclosed trailer. Fully loaded with quads weights about 8,500lbs. Hope i get good range towing my trailer. Right now with my 2019 1500 i get 7mpg towing to WV, thats about 200-225 miles per tank. If it beats that ill be happy.
